USA Life Sciences Forum 2018

USA Life Sciences Forum 2018

For Immediate Release

Mountain View, California - August 17, 2018.

The Think Global Forum for Life Sciences is due to take place on September 12, 2018, in San Diego.

The existing Life Sciences Forum Executives will be in attendance at the gathering along with a number of invited guests to discuss many aspects of life sciences related topics.

Life sciences companies are taking full advantage of new research that helps improve the impact of emerging and new technologies in areas such as robotics and artificial intelligence. The industry is a major player in the fourth industrial revolution and is undergoing major changes across the world.

The speed of current breakthroughs has no historical precedent when compared with previous industrial revolutions.

The industry players involved in the biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, biomedical technologies, life systems technologies, nutraceuticals, cosmeceuticals, food processing, environmental, and biomedical devices are all major contributors to the ongoing development of the life sciences and healthcare sector.

According to a recent 2018 Deloitte study 'Global and US life sciences outlook' AI and cognitive technologies, automation, and computing power are advancing at an accelerating rate. Continuous manufacturing technology and robotic process automation (RPA) are shortening production times and increasing process efficiencies. These technologies are benefiting patients and clinical trial productivity but also lead to an increase in data volume, further leading to the need for scale and security in the business.

In addition, new and evolving technology advancements, more sophisticated electronic medical records (EMRs), wearable healthcare devices, next-generation sequencing, breakthroughs in genomics, immunotherapy, gene therapy, use of real-world evidence (RWE) and data analytics have primed the life sciences sector for disruption.

We are looking forward to this important life sciences forum gathering in San Diego.
