The Think Global Forum Awards recognize the achievements of people, projects, brands and companies around the world.

The importance of reaching a global audience effectively and efficiently is so critical in today's market place.

The messaging and essence of the communication is so important as you grow and expand your products and services into new markets and geographies. Your global content, the languages and a host of items play such an important factor along with local cultural market understandings.

These awards are a way of recognizing the achievements in these areas and to help and promote the awareness of thinking globally.

There are no current restrictions on the number of categories you can enter.

In order to nominate a person, product, service, brand or company for an award you will simply need to complete the form below.

Please ensure you select the correct award category that you are nominating for.

Individuals, companies and brands can enter on their own behalf.

Brand of the Year

The Award will recognize the brand demonstrating outstanding brand performance across multiple channels and locations.

Community Award

The Award will honour the best community aligned website, platform, project or service by a for-profit or a non-profit organization.

Company of the Year

This Award is open to all companies actively embracing change, growth and demonstrating a real ability to think globally.

Global Advertising Award

This award will honour the company or brand with creativity & excellence in the aspect of global advertising.

Language Industry Person of the Year

The Award will go to the individual who demonstrates outstanding localization expertise & understanding.

Localization Recognition Award

The Award will honour the company who demonstrates outstanding localization expertise & understanding.

Technology Company of the Year

The Award will honour high levels of achievement in the area of outstanding technology & innovation.

Travel Company of the Year

The Award will recognize ingenuity and development within the wider travel industry landscape.

Life Sciences Company of the Year

The Award will go to the company demonstrating developments, progress and innovation.

Retail Company of the Year

 

This Award will honour the best retail or eCommerce company, brand or service.

Online Advertising Award

The Award will recognize the creativity, innovation & design in online advertising.

An award winning social media and content strategist with over ten years’ experience in the B2B tech sector. Beatrice is the Global Content Manager for Social Media, Events and Blogging at Sage, providing social content and inbound content strategy for Sage in over 20 markets globally. She is the author of Trending: The Complete Guide to Social Media for Events. Beatrice is also a public speaker and social media trainer. Her work has received many awards including eGovernment Award for Best Accessible Website (2011), Best Inbound Marketing Campaign Social Media Awards (2013), Best Use of Social Media Advocate Marketing Awards (2016) and B2B Marketing Exchange Killer Content Awards (2017).

Patrick Kelly began his IT career in software development at Lotus. He then joined GeCAP as Localization Manager and became one of Vistatec's founding members when GeCAP was acquired in 1997. Patrick is Chief Commercial Officer at Vistatec and is responsible for the commercial viability of Vistatec's business solutions.

Krishna De is a digital communications, social business, mobile marketing and live video strategist, educator and mentor. She has been immersed in digital technologies since 2005. Prior to establishing her own business, Krishna was on the board of a FTSE 100 company in Asia, North America, Western and Eastern Europe. She now guides executives, marketing and PR professionals in digital communications to support their strategic goals. Since 2008, Krishna has been an early adopter of mobile live streaming, and is the co-host of ‘Live Stream Insiders’, a weekly show covering live streaming news, technology and best practice case studies.

Bruno Herrmann

Director of Globalization & Localization, The Nielsen Company

As Director of Globalization and Localization, Bruno Herrmann is currently leading digital content operations globally at The Nielsen Company, focusing on design, development, localization, certification and delivery as well as on immersive customer experiences locally. He joined Nielsen in 2003 to manage international content and digital marketing programs in EMEA prior to taking on the role of Globalization Leader. Previously, he managed online globalization and localization programs at HP and content management initiatives in addition to Web localization at Compaq. Prior to joining Compaq, he worked in the communication and localization industries, taking part in major international projects for high-profile technology clients.

Sibylle Eibl

Director of Solutions Architecture, Vistatec

Working closely with clients and partners around the world. extensive experience in the field of content globalization, software localization, multilingual multi-media and e-learning development, Sibylle is a highly-experienced senior manager with strong business management expertise in a complex international environment. With a master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, Sibylle has worked in a number of leading industry positions across the sector. Sibylle has experience managing Language Review and Digital Marketing Services divisions.

Entries will close Friday, December 22, 2017.

Judging will take place in January / early 2018.


Think Global Forum Awards 2017

  1. The Think Global Forum Awards are organized by Vistatec Limited, 700 South Circular Road, Kilmainham, Dublin 8, Ireland.

  2. All entries for the Think Global Forum Awards must be completed and uploaded via the online form by the entry deadline date.

  3. Entry deadlines may be extended at the discretion of the organizers.

  4. All entries must be a truthful representation with a proven record.

  5. Entries are encouraged either directly or from external contracted third parties acting for the putative nominee.

  6. All entrants agree to be bound by the decisions of the judges and accept no correspondence, telephone, email or communication of any kind will be entered into in relation to decisions reached.

  7. All material submitted in support of an entry is warranted by the entrant to be their property and is entered without any encumbrances by third parties.

  8. The entrant indemnifies, and agrees to keep indemnified, the organizers of the Think Global Forum Awards or any claims arising out of any material, statements or claims made as part of their entry.

  9. The entrant agrees that the organizers of the awards are entitled to judge their entry and select what they consider to be the winner in a given category without recourse to the entrants.

  10. If the entrant wins an award it grants permission to the organizers to use any photographs, video, sound, written or other material as it sees fit and without restriction.

  11. Entries received without the prerequisite information will be deemed invalid and withdrawn from the Think Global Awards.

  12. The Think Global Forum Awards reserves the right to withdraw an entry from the judging process at any time if the entry is deemed inappropriate for any reason.

  13. The Organizers, Judging Panel and Think Global Forum Awards decision is final.

  14. Organizers reserve the right not to award a category at its own discretion and without recourse to the entrants of said category.

  15. In the event that a category is deemed not to have received a sufficient number of entries for the shortlist, the organizers reserve the right, and the entrant agrees to the same, to withdraw the entrant's submission and to assign the winner based on nomination from the event’s judging panel.

  16. The Think Global Forum Awards reserve the right to nominate the entrant in additional categories that the organizers feel appropriate.

  17. The person named on the entry form will be the used as a point of contact by the Think Global Forum Awards.

  18. If the name of the nominated contact person changes, the Think Global Forum Awards must be contacted immediately.

  19. Shortlisted entrants may be required to provide additional information upon request from the Think Global Forum Awards.

  20. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges.

  21. Organizations can enter as many categories as they like.

  22. The winners of the awards may state in advertising, promotional material and on their stationery that they are a winner, but this must make it clear which category and the year in which they won.

  23. The organizers reserve the right, and the entrant accepts same, to remove an entry from the competition at their sole discretion and without recourse to said entrant.

  24. The Think Global Forum Awards and all its Intellectual Property remains the sole copyright of Think Global Forum Awards and the entity of Vistatec limited all rights reserved.

  25. These rules and regulations will be subject to the laws of Republic of Ireland.
